Puhos to market ‘MDF’ range 01.11.01 The market leading Medite range of MDF (medium density fibreboard) products is being added to the ex stock chipboard product portfolio from Finland, marketed by Puhoswood Limited via distributors to housebuilding, construction and furniture markets in the UK. The agreement between Puhoswood limited and Willamette Europe Limited will enable both the Medite and Puhos product ranges to be available for delivery or collection from a single source. Initially, this service will operate from the Puhos depot at Rochester in Kent, followed by similar arrangements in the near future at other Puhos stocking depots in northern England and Scotland. Medite products can be ordered and invoiced directly from Puhoswood and will supplement and extend the existing Willamette full load direct business from the Medite mill in Ireland. This service gives a new fast route to market for both Medite and Puhos products. Customer advantages include decreased stockholding, rapid delivery and an extensive product menu. Other core products such as Sprucefloor, Le Mans mezzanine flooring and square edged chipboard can also be added to a delivery to distributors. Malcolm
