The change has been prompted by the rapid evolution and expansion of the UK business above and beyond the supply of particle board. Puhoswood has its roots in Finland, where parent company Puhos Board OY has, for over 30 years, been the leading manufacturer of superior quality baseboard. In the UK, Puhoswood now has a turnover of some £45 million, most of which is attributable to value added products. Typical of these is the Weather Dek2 flooring system through which the company pioneered the concept of temporary weather protection for upper floors in housing, prior to roof construction.
